Newsletter Andy

Even in the midst of quarantine, our church is continuing to minister to our community in a number of ways.  Our food pantry and benevolence ministry has increased during this time of coronavirus as we see more and more people coming to our church for help.  Our online services and radio broadcasts are reaching people that we normally wouldn’t reach.  Some of our Sunday School classes have found ways to meet through video chats and other online platforms.  Participation in these meetings have been very good.  It seems like people in general are in need of fellowship with other believers, and we look forward to when we can gather at church again.  Until then, FBC Breck will continue to meet the needs of our community and church family.

If you, or someone you know, has a need during this time of quarantine, please contact the church office at 254-559-2295.  We have people who have volunteered to go shopping for others as well as other ways our office can help direct people to community resources.

This is a time of uncertainty and a difficult time for our local economy.  As a church, we are doing all we can to provide for our community and meet our own financial obligations.  Even though we are not meeting in person, we encourage you to take advantage of our many opportunities for giving to our church.  You can give online at fbcbreck.org/give or even get setup for text giving by texting your amount to 254-655-6559.  Our church has also installed a red drop box right outside our office for you to drop of your tithes and offerings.  Of course, you can always mail your offering to 301 S Rose Ave if you like.  Please contact the church office if you have any questions about giving to our church during this quarantine.

Though our services may be closed, we will continue to broadcast our Sunday morning worship service over the radio and online.  You can listen to the radio locally on 93.5 or on their website at http://katxradio.com/klxkplayer.html.  If you would prefer to watch live video of our service, you can do so through our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/firstbaptistbreck.

We will continue our Virtual Home Group on Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM.  Though we cannot meet in homes, you can go to our Facebook page and join us live for a night of Bible study and discussion.  We will spend time discussing what we are learning in Romans and enjoy fellowship with one another, even if it is online.

All church activities cancelled until further notice.  Please watch or listen to our Sunday morning services at 11:00 AM.
